Celebrating me

Shades- RayBan
Ring- Bansri
Neck piece-Aftershock
Envelope clutch- River Island
Blazer- Warehouse
Jeans- Guess
T-shirt- Mango
Shoes- Aldo
Turned 20 yesterday..Not just a year older, but a year better.

What is more fun than celebrating your birthday with people you love?
I was made to cut four cakes, and thanks to that I have lost count on my calorie intake. The love really did overflow.*sighs*

Anyway, after hours of choosing a perfect outfit for the day, I finally settled to an executive, yet chic look. I wore a pastel blazer, paired it up with ice blue color jeans and a bright pink tee to enhance the entire look. And of course, the accessories to complete the look.

I like to keep my birthday simple, a lovely meal at a restaurant with a beautiful view is perfect.

Loved being spoil for the day.*winks*

Love for red

Sadly I have no post  to upload, thanks to my project submissions *sighs*. Hopefully I'll be able to post soon.
Anyway, I have this picture with my red streaks to share. I got this done a few months back but of course red being red, it does not stay for more  than three months and now I am in the 'I MISS RED' zone. I so want them back.
I love experimenting with my hair and this is the second time I colored my hair red. Next i want to go for global hair color. Can't wait to get them.

What is your favorite hair color this season?

Colorful threads with mirrors and lace

Dress/Tunic- AND
Jacket- Koton
Bangle- Mango
Earrings- Promod

Don't we all love colors!

As you can see, the work on this dress is a typical Indian thread and mirror work. You will mainly see this  on traditional Indian saree's. Karigars especially use this kind of work on Ghagra cholis which are mainly made in the heart of Gujarat. So if anyone wants  this working on their salwar suit, tunics or saree's, you know where to find them.

I love this work because of its clean and clear finishing that makes a dress not only unique but also  gives it a traditional Indian touch.
I paired this dress with a lace jacket to give it a little modern look and stocking because its a little chilly. Aren't we all enjoying the chilly weather in Mumbai?

Stones and more

        Neck Piece- Forever 21

This is my current favorite neck piece. It is chunky with beautiful variation of multiple chains. This kind of neck piece cannot go with anything and everything. If you do not get it right, it could be a major fashion faux pas.

Here are a few tips on how to carry this particular type of accessory:
It will standout when you wear a tube dress or a tube top/blouse, or it would look catchy with a plain dress/top which has a closed neckline just the way I am wearing it or with a plain vibrant shirt on high-waist trousers. Try these styles and let me know if you have more ways to carry it.

Oh yes, have fun shopping. Almost all the brands are on sale( Zara, la Senza, Vero Moda, Only, Jack and Jones, Mango....). Have a Blast and Be kind ladies.

Butterfly and Bow

Skinny Jeans- Guess
Bag- Guess
Ring- Colaba causeway
Top- Aeropostale
Shrug- Mango
Sunglasses- Vogue

This is my current favorite bag and I couldn't resist sharing it with you all. I am not a very bow and butterfly person but that does not mean that I won't wear them right. There was something about this bag that caught my eye.

Bags and accessories give me a lot of pleasure. I believe they complete the emptiness of an outfit which is why one should depend on them totally. You wear a plain tee and a jeans and wear right accessories and a cute bag, you are sorted  for a lunch date with your girlfriends, shopping, college/university, even for a romantic date.

P.S- Do you'll have any favorite thing in your closet?
