Fashion and novels

Hello Ladies,
A warm welcome to my new followers. Thank you for following my blog.

Mumbai is awfully hot these days. As much as I was waiting for summer, I am not happy with the warm breeze.

Went novel shopping with my friend the other day. Got a couple of novels out of which I started with 'Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman' by Haruki Murakami. I was introduced to this author by my friend and I am already enjoying it. I actually had to drag myself out of the book to write this post*kidding*.

Look of that day: Green snake print loose top with burgundy pants.
I now have three colored pants. You can see me wearing them HERE and HERE. Next on my list is a pastel color pants*Dances*.

As you see, I also have mehendi on my hand which I applied last Sunday for one of my best friends brothers engagement. The photographs will be up soon:)

Are you reading an interesting novel? Any suggestions?

Clocks don't work

I am two months away from graduation. I am someone who believes in going in a flow with her life and not looking back. But as soon as I think about college coming to an end, my heart skips a beat. I wonder if anybody felt/ is feeling that way. Anyone? No?..

These pictures were taken a few days back when I was out on a lunch date with my girlfriends. As it was a casual date, I chose to keep my outfit simple and focus more on the accessories. This way I got the chance to wear my new neck piece, which is my current favorite.

Hello Ladies,
Meet Saloni Dahake,
A final year mass media student, who is obsessed with traveling and keeps making lists in her diary. She aspires to become a travel photographer and dreams of launching a colorful collection of cloth bags in near future.
One will usually see her in bright colors and bold prints( mainly floral) and believe me, she carries them beautifully. She is comfortable in her skin and knows her body well which I believe is the most challenging task.

Saloni's take on fashion:
The word fashion is highly overrated. How you dress is a sheer establishment of how you feel from within. I'm a mixture of color and quirky on most happy days and soaked in different shades of nudes on other. With every piece of clothing I put on, I am making a significant effort towards satisfying my mood.

Very well said, isn't it?

I can't wait for summer. It reminds me of flowy dresses, pastel shades, shorts, florals prints and everything bright. I personally prefer whites and beige but this summer, I'll surely give them a try.

P.S: Do not forget to notice her curls, aren't they gorgeous?

Looks from the past

I did not post about my December month end review. Hence, I decided to club it with January month end review, and what could be more better than posting a video to do that.

Clothes, accessories, designs, colors have always fascinated me. This blog is my medium to share with you all my take on latest styles/designs and how I pair up these trends into my look. This month I am also going to be providing you all with a few quick hair and make-up tips that will help you in your day to day life.

P.S- This is my first video and I decided to keep it simple. More videos will be coming up soon.
